Some people work endlessly and still struggle, while others catch a break early. Hard work matters, but it’s not the whole story.
You're absolutely right, capitalism does reward effort to an extent, but the fastest compensation jumps often come from switching roles or companies. Loyalty doesn’t always pay as much as strategic moves. Hard work can sometimes lead to being over-relied on without corresponding raises, which is frustrating.
