Seriously, its in our nature, we hate winners but will make legends of the plucky losers. I remember when I climbed the Sydney Harbour bridge in Australia, there were photos of all the people who had done it too. Recently the Olympics had been held there and there were pictures of loads of Olympic athletes posing proudly at the top with their medals. I didn't recognise any of them but was then overjoyed to see a photo of Eric the Eel. For those of you who dont know, this is a guy from some little African country who took part in the swimming sprint and had to stop for a rest half way. Ridiculed in his own country bringing shame on it, he is a legend over here. We love these sort of people and hate winners, why do you think Man Utd, arguably the greatest club in the world is hated so much?
Then we have Eddie the Eagle Edwards, a guy who easily finished last in the ski jump Olympics but set a British record despite the fact there are no ski jumps in Britain, instant legend!
So if you're crap at anything, come to Britain to promote it, we will worship you!:thumbup
