Here are my thoughts:

Megan has been making some poor song choices, but I do like her voice because she's different. I'm not surprised that she went home - I was hoping it wouldn't be this soon.

I was surprised too that Alison was in the bottom three this week - again! Her performance wasn't the best, but right now I think she's kicking Lil's butt.

As for Lil, she needs to start making better choices or she's going to be in trouble too. She's got an amazing voice - I wish someone would advise her better with songs. She needs to bring it in a big way next week.

I thought Anoop should go home. He's been borderline for me since the beginning and he's not really getting any better.

And I have to say, for the first time this week, Chris impressed me. A LOT!!! I really didn't like him before now - thought he was boring. Now he's creeping up there.

Matt just flat out doesn't do it for me. In all of his performances where the judges raved about him, I didn't see it. Still don't.

I thought Scott did really well this week, but I don't think he's really any competition for Danny and Adam.

Adam is solid and consistent. I don't always like what he does (the "Ring of Fire" debacle) but at least he is Adam every week. I think he's ultimately going to win it.

And Danny is my favorite.

I agree w/ you on just about everything there...except for Matt. I really have enjoyed some of his performances and was surprised that he was in the bottom 3 last week.

Scott or Anoop gets my vote to go next...and whichever one of them doesn't go next week gets my vote to go the week after that unless they REALLY bring it.

Lil...oh my dear Lil. The girl can SANG (that's SANG not SING...there IS a difference in the South, now...LOL). But why oh why is she not doing some big ballad by Whitney or even Christina Aguilera. I mean...Celine Dion??? Puhleeze!!! If she was gonna do Celine she should've at least done "It's all coming back" (whatever that song's name is) or "My heart will go on"...not whatever it was she sung tonight that I had never heard.

Adam...oh at first I hated his "Ring of Fire" performance...but now it's almost grown on me a little bit. It's scary, kinda...but I don't HATE it anymore.

At this point, the 3 semi-finalists IMO are going to be Danny, Adam, and Allison...but Kris was definitely the best performance this week and I'm starting to think he may be a dark horse.

Oh...and WTF is today's public thinking!?!?!? How the hell is this Lady GaGa bitch in the top 10??? I mean, that song fucking sucked and she had a zipper over her eye for fucks sake!!! Plus she moved and looked like a robotic mannequin or something. CREEPY!!!

Oh...and :thumbdown for David Cook's new song. I didn't like it.

Forgot to comment on these, and as usual, we're on the same page! My first impression of Lady GaGa was Wendy O Williams crossed with Madonna - but worse than either of them (and that's saying something)!

That's the thing about her, her voice is sooo unique that it really puts a limit on her song choices and what will sound good.

Her voice is unique. So unique that it makes me want to rip my hair out. I don't mind having a different tone or quality to a voice but she serious sounds like she gargling rocks to me. I honestly could not listen to her, it bothers me that much.

Too many of them are picking songs they like and not songs that they can sing. I like Anoop's voice but he needs to step up his performances. They're getting boring. I hated Adam's "Ring of Fire" but I've really liked him since then.

Yeah, she did it when she got sent to the bottom three. And then, when she got kicked off, Allison did it from the couch section. I assume it's some kind of weird inside joke and I would imagine it'll probably be explained next week....but we were joking that maybe it was b/c of Megan's bird legs and the way she dances. Hey, maybe she can get a gig as a backup singer and dancer for Lady GaGa. LOL

I would be willing to bet Megan will get some modeling work in the future. She's a gorgeous girl.

OMG, it's getting sooooooooooooo tough now. When it gets to the top 5 it's gonna be INSANE!!! Last 3 performers of the night were the 3 best, IMO. I voted for Allison so many damn times it's not even funny. I just can't understand how in the world she's been in the bottom 3 TWICE now. That's insanity!!!

I could not believe the standing ovation from Simon...don't think I've ever seen that before. Definitely was well deserved, though...Adam did a great job!!!

It was overall pretty good last night. I love the song Adam did (it's one of my favorites) and I thought it was perfect for him. He might be my favorite now, if I can just get over his "Ring of Fire" rendition.

Every time Adam sings, I get goose bumps! That boy can hit notes like no other!

The right 2 people went home this week...but I'm still just flabbergasted that Allison continues to be in the bottom 3!!! I try to vote for her as much as possible, but I was only able to vote for 15 minutes. Adam is just amazing...if he doesn't win it it's gonna have to be b/c of the Daughty-effect.

I like Matt, but he IS definitely too much of a Timberlike-clone. Not that there's anything wrong w/ that...I like Justin Timberlake. BUT compared to Adam, Allison, and Kris he's far below par.

Before I start I'm going to say that I realize I'm probably going to get a lot of crap for this post, but I've gotta say it.

I liked Adam up until this point, but now, not so much. Going back over his performances, he's got 2 modes: screaming or Elvis wannabe - there's no depth or in-between there. Yes, he can work a crowd and he's exciting - but his vocals are really starting to grate on me. Even his slow stuff is becoming "whiny". Now, that being said, I think he's still going to win.

I can't figure out why Allison keeps being in the bottom 3 either.

And, although Kris annoyed me at first, he's quickly moving up the ranks. I would love to see him, Danny, or Allison take the win from Adam. I like Matt, but he's just not in the same league as the other 4.

Just my 2 cents.

Seriously, though, I am biting my nails to see the results tonight. I am hoping against hope that it will not be a Danny v.s Adam showdown...I am SO over Danny!!! He should've gone home last week...he was awful!!! The finale SHOULD have been Allison vs. Adam.

I loved Adam and Kris both last night...actually, I liked Kris more last night. He has been kind of a dark horse in this competition this year...when he first showed up I never would've thought he'd be in the top 3. He's definitely surprised me!!!

Also, I agree w/ Goddess about Matt. I liked him, but he wasn't in the same league as the other 4.

By the way, did anybody catch what Kara said last week after Danny's performance of "Dream On"??? She said that she had hoped he would've picked "early Aerosmith" like Cryin' or Crazy. Ummmm...huh??? Maybe I'm crazy...but I remember Dream On as being released in the 70s and Cryin and Crazy being released in the 90s. Is she fucking stupid or what!?!?!? LOL
