Evening all...
Well let's see, my healthcare card wasn't invalid since I'm 21, my birthday is in March... I was under my mother's name until I was 21 and I had to do something which is give them an address of where I live, I didn't know I had to do that and according to Alberta Health my address was on 63rd ave, which I have never lived in that area... so I gave them my new address and now I'm valid again. Also I have to pay an entire year's worth of not getting valid billed to me with my income tax which is wtf!!!!! Alberta is bullshit... I took an hour of talking on the phone to get valid, I also took another TWO hours waiting to see the Doctor!
Oh yeah the bill is 400 dollars...
That really does suck gilrie.
They went nuts on me when I came out here wanting me to pay I just sent them a copy of my last T4 and then I didn't have pay.
At least now that they have gotten rid of the fees it will help... but that doesn't help you having to pay what they want you to.
And waiting to see a Dr is a major pain in the ass. I know your paint sweetie!
I went to get my blood done today and I was there almost 2 hours. :willy_nilly:
Yeah, cheers to us Albertans, no wonder why more people are binge drinking in Edmonton.
Whoever works in Health Care are just greedy bastards :surrender:surrender:surrender
Hiya Melissa... how you be?
:thumbupYes they are a pain in the ass and extremely greedy. :willy_nilly:
:thumbup
Couldn't agree more, I HATE seeing the doctor unless it's something serious or it's been bugging me forever, the last time I stayed in a Hospital was over three years ago for three days. :surrender
Being pregnant lets me deal with ABHC every week at least once... :surrender
I just can't stand going to a walk in.
I am off for supper.
I will be back after!
helloooooo everyone!
its downright cold here...snow tomorrow!
and wednesday looks uglier than its younger sister Monday!
