Kind Guy/Tough Guy

Ive kindof realized something after these last few month. I always told myself that I wanted a nice guy.. A guy that would do anything for me... One that wouldnt ever hurt me.. etc. Well, I had that guy.. And I realized that I didnt want him. I dont want someone that wont argue with me once in a while and wont stand up to me.. I dont want a man that wont defend me because he is a wuss.. I dont want a man that will get butt hurt when I turn into a smart ass. (because I am alot- in a joking way).. I want the man that can defend himself and me if NEEDED.. I can pretty much hold my own. lol .. I want a man that will stand up to me (NOT hit me.. just let me know if I am out of line). I want a man thats not always nice.. (well he better be to me.. but I mean to other people)

So.. I guess what I am saying is The girls that say they want a NICE man, will always be tempted by the men that are the not so nice type. And thank GOD, I have my THUG LIFE! (KIDDING MATT!!)

I'm mainly nice. But when I'm pissed, I can be scarier than ever. Though, I can only be pissed if I'm trapped in a period of suffering the annoyance of others.

I mean the whole "bad boy, tough guy" mentality seems so.... high schoolish.

I remember lots of female friends (mostly my best friend) who always dated those types, and incidentally always came crying to me when they hurt her.

Im not meaning that I want an ASSHOLE! I like a combination. Matt is a good mix of tough guy and kind guy. He is caring to me.. but he can be a dick.. He can also take my sarcasm.

there was a guy that I dated... and he was a wuss.. I mean.. well.. He wasnt a wuss, he was an ass.. however, he was too much of a nice guy. lol... Then he turned into a stalker kind.. would send me flowers at work constantly.. etc.

he was constantly in my face.. He wanted to talk to me non-stop.. He wouldnt let me have my own space.. I would make a comment that I needed to get something..and the next day, it was there on my door step.. Yes, that is sweet.. but not for someone that is independant and head strong. .

I guess he was more clingy.. but alot of females WANT that .. They want the man to be ALL about them.. etc.. I dunno. It just wasnt me.

And no, I m not saying I want some BIG BAD MAN THAT WOULD HIT ME.. Im saying that I want a man that can and WILL take care of me physically.

This is exactly, what I had to put up with too - it got worse though when we split up, he became like a stalker, was creepy and like you V, I am independant and have my own mind, but I like to share thoughts and ideas too, that's ok, but I also like a man to be a man, but enjoy space too and appreciate together and separate times as important.

A 'man' who is like, 'yes yes', agrees with you on everything, cos they are that clingy and pathetic and don't have an opinion on anything, other than to always agree only with the woman, uh uh, huge turn off.

So, A guy who has kindness and caring, but yes, who can definately hold his own and not mind disagreeing now and then too, is my kinda man.

I wouldn't class it as tough guy exactly, but a man who can sort out problems, protect me to a point too and be there, but not in my face 24/7.
