Is it just me or is the stupidest fashion trend ever.

The instructions you get when you buy a pair go so far as to tell you to not wear socks. Wool, being a natural fiber, is also a natual soil repellent, so they won't smell bad or get gross inside. If you wear socks .. your feet WILL sweat though; because the cotton socks on your feet, inside the wool, will make your feet sweat .. and then your feet will get COLD.

Also, to wear these in snow all one needs to do is apply a water repellent spray to the suede outside .. then you can tromp around in snow all day long.

The really furry ones though, are just for looks/novelty. I have some pink furry ones that are strickly house shoes.

To sum this up. Ugg Boots have been around for decades in Australia. People (mostly females) would wear them around the house, sometimes with a wooly gown. Ugg boots became accepted as "at home" wear.

Well we all know females and their constant need for extreme comfort. They wanted to wear these all day, everyday. Only problem is, people will laugh at you because you look like a stupid moron wearing them. Kinda like going to the store in your pajammers.

Now females are the last ones that will go outside in something extremely unfashionable. So they came up with a solution. To convince everyone that Ugg Boots are a new fashion trend, and it's cool to wear them everywhere.

Some people bought it, others are still laughing at them..

I dunno why you think that .. if you've ever seen in at the store you should just pick one of them up .. they are super light.

My summer sandals w/heels (not flip flops) weigh more a piece than they do both together.

And I already stated what they're made of .. keep your feet quite unsweaty.

If you ever wore some .. you'd understand why everyone likes them. I have a brown pair on right now .. under my cordoroy pants (not on top like in the pic). It's 39 degrees and I'm the only one in the office thats not complaining about being cold :24:
