That's the other thing too - they decided to allow children in pubs, as makes extra for them. It's all down to money = greed.

Smoking I can somewhat understand .. smoking can/does cause harm to others around you .. but cursing? lol .. that's kinda silly. I'd really like to know how they are going to enforce that one .. all you have to say is .. "that's not what I said, you must have misunderstood me over all this noise" and it's your word against theirs.

When Fort wayne banned smoking in bars last year, more residents drove 5 minutes to New haven to come to the 4+ bars here. The owner of the bar we hang out at a lot says his business picked up because New Haven opted out of the county bill that banned smoking.

But this bill, that's fucking ridiculous. Freedom of speech is being infringed upon. I know bar owners and patrons could appeal to the state/federal judicial system and get that shit overturned easily.

Over here, you have to be 18 to consume alcohol, but can be 14 yrs to go into a pub, if just a pub.

A restaurant/pub, children are any age, are allowed in, from babies upwards.

Most of our restaurant type places, were pubs to begin with anyway and just added the eating areas for whole families to go into, for that extra profit making margin.

In Indiana, you can bring your underage child into a 'bar' as long as he/she is not sitting at the bar and/or consuming alcohol.

I'd go to the bar all the time with my dad, we'd sit in the game rooms or at a table all the time.

Even the whole smoking ban is loony. I would like for a scientist to prove at least one cancer case to me from somebody who got it via second hand smoke in a bar!
