Do you have OCD?

Well, I ALWAYS have to check if I have money or a card before I buy anything. For some reason, it would be horribly embarrassing for me to not have money to pay.

I sometimes count things. The number of pieces of glass in a stained glass windows. The number of stop signs before I get to a destination. The number of angles in a scene. The number of times a wire is coiled. Ugh. Yes, it's all stupid. :(

Everything is even numbers if I think of it.

I can't eat any dinner I cooked unless the kitchen is cleaned.

Every time I vacuum, which is every day or every other, I have to use the cracks and crevices tools, too. Clean cracks are important.

Im bad to second guess things im sure about...did i lock the door, did i turn the stove off, and lots of others. It bothers me until i go double check, but the whole time i know it was done.

OMG, I am like that with lights. Did I turn off the bathroom light, the kitchen light, etc. I'll walk through the whole place before I go anywhere.

Charlie...quick...check if I closed the freezer all the way or the ice cream will defrost. ARGH

If I ever see so much as a bug..ant, fly or anything, I will buy that industrial bug spray bottle with the hose and Orkin the place myself.

Oh I have SOOOOOO many! LOL!!

No one can touch my blanket before I go to bed. You can twist that damn thing around all day if you want, but if I see you on it just before I go to bed I have to wash it. :24: Yeah, weird...

All my clothes have to be folded a specific way, separated into tee shirts, long sleeved tee shirts, short sleeved dress shirts, long sleeved dress shirts, then capris, jeans, dress pants. Gettin' weirder...

I count the stairs everywhere I go, and if they don't equal out to an even number, I have to do figures in my head til it does LOL!! Example....If there are 13 steps, I think, Okay, 1+3=4 :willy_nilly:

Um...my radio volume in my car always has to be on an even number, and can NEVER stop on the number 6!

There's so many more things LOL but I'm not OCD completely I don't think...:24:

It was explained to me by my son's assesser about OCD and OCB.

We all have OCB tendencies, but are not necessarily OCD.

The difference between the two?

Well, OCD = Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - this is what rules your day to day life, takes up most of your time, therefore that is why it is OCD. Not everyone has that.

OCB = Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour - this is where some people have some tendencies toward the above, but it doesn't take up your day to day life like OCD does.

My son has OCD, I have OCB.
