I'm disappointed to see Stella has gone. She had a wicked sense of humour.
I noticed she said you guys aren't allowing new registrations without them 'knowing' someone here. I hope I read wrong,as I have a very good friend who tried to join the other day but said he had trouble doing so. He said he'd try again and if it didn't work he would get in contact with whom ever owns the site. He's a super nice guy and would make for a great member here.
ANYWAY...
Civic holiday for the Canadians today, 'Labour Day weekend'.:nod: I don't know about the rest of you but I've had a great weekend so far. Spent part of it out at the cottage on our private beach soaking up the sun. We got to have a laugh at watching our puppy take her first plunges into lake Superior. She spent most of her time chasing the waves...I think she was attempting to herd them really, as shes a border collie and tend to herd most things.
Then I went over to my dad's place yesterday and got it all cleaned up for when he comes home in the next week or so...I'm going to seriously have him spend some money on a housekeeper when he gets back, as the only one who cleans the place, ME, does it once a year when he buggers off to Spain to sail about....so you can imagine what the mess would be like...or maybe you can't...its bad.:ninja:yuk
Today, i think once everyone is mobile, as its only just turned 9am, that if the weather stays good we'll head back out for th day to the cottage. If it rains, well maybe we'll potter about a few of the green houses here and see whats on sale.
What has everyone else been up to or are about to do?:unsure:
