Since I can't pm you BB@TW, I didn't break any rules and I hit up Tim about it so you don't think I went behind your back. You had told me to lay off the sarcasm towards TOJ. I did. But you still nabbed me for 'failure to listen to a moderator.' I listened just fine. So I'm am no doubt, unfairly on probation.

You know folks, the more I've had time to ponder this, the more I'm leaning towards finding another forum altogether. I've had a great time here. I've enjoyed contributing all that I have and bantering with the folks who have a sense of humor and a personality. But truth be told, from day one I wasn't impressed with the random bullet point rules. There really should be a more descriptive layout in order to prevent conflict like what took place Friday. There should also be something in regards to guidelines, explaining the process of warnings, infractions, etc. I mean scrolling above, 1 mod from the past and 1 from the present had no clue how long probation lasts. How do I know that 10 days is indeed the 'rule' and it wasn't just made up at the last minute? Don't you have some sort of protocol you follow or does it just depend on the current mood of the moderator? And I'm now wondering if I was put on probation simply because BB@TW was tying one on. As he mentioned itt, he was indeed partaking in beer consumption. And I didn't do anything warranting probation. If I had access to my pm's, I could prove this to whichever admin / staff member needs to know.
Also, the activity on this forum has greatly diminished since I registered 3 months ago. From what I understand, the only new members allowed to register are those who know staff members. That's why you're seeing people with less than 10 posts being jacked up to V.I.P. status already. So understandably so, it will only continue to die. This can be chalked up to favoritism. And I've also witnessed this in the tv thread where all my posts were deleted, but TheOriginalJames' remained where he was referring to me in a derogatory manner. If the purpose of deleting threads, BB@TW, was to avoid the "negativity," then his posts should have been deleted as well. Very poor moderation on your part.
So I believe I'm bidding you all farewell. I hit forums for entertainment and this latest drama has truly turned me off from otz. I was very happy for the first couple months of my membership here but I'm not any longer. I must move forward! For those whom I've formed a sort of e-friendship with, please feel free to contact me at stella.calm@hotmail.com. TheOriginalJames - please seek treatment asap.

I do see the favoratism...I can understand that seeings how i had noticed people who had less posts than I but already had this status THAT IS LAME BTW. Yes I can understand having a VIP section and what not I'm part of many boards and have gotten used to this, but allowing others to have the ability to view before those of us actually working on having fun and chatting with people and actually being involved in topics SUX.

Bloodbane34...new user...VIP...because they knew someone. I don't know how many others that just caught my eye like yesterday or something. I'm sure it's not the only one. And I wasn't going to bitch, but then knowing I wasn't the only one who saw it made me feel like I should help support it.
