well there I was driving back to maryland from a nice weekend in Jersey right.....everything is good to go right.....fucking wrong....there is a car behind me and a car to the right of me...well the car to the right of me makes the brilliant decision to speed up and cut me off and then procede to slam on his brakes well in the split second I had to react I swerved to the right to avoid the car and wound up in a ditch....the lower 1/2 of my bumper gone and my driver side light is loose....so now I get to find a body shop that can repair it for probably some rediculous amount of money....to top it of the airbags deployed light is on but the airbags never came out....fun times there too....luckly that was the only damage and someone pulled me out of the ditch....why do people drive like such assholes when its snowing out....oh yeah the guy that cut me off and slammed on his brakes just kept on driving....oh happy day

That sucks indeed, I know how you feel buddy. I've been there myself a few times.

The airbag sensor light might be on because you tripped only one sensor. Vehicles typically have 3 or 4 sensors and two or more have to trip at the same time to set off the airbag. It's a safety thing.

yeah I just got back from the deallership they are looking for aftermarket parts so it will be a little cheaper on me but If they can't get them its going to cost about $800 for the bumper and light to get fixed...as for the airbag light they looked at it and said I don't have to worry about the airbag just randomly going off but I have to make an appointment to bring it back tomorrow morning for so they can hook it up to a machine and see if anything needs to be replaced...worst case on that they said around $500...so I'm looking at shelling out about $1300....I can think of a hell of a lot of things I could and much rather would spend that money on
