Yeah it does. I watched the little clip where it shows him being walked up to the noose and having it put around his neck. Not that I felt sorry for him or anything, but I couldn't help but wonder what was going through his mind knowing that he was about the die.

I still think they should have just locked him up and let him rot away in some forgotten prison. Nothing would be more of a punishment to an egomaniac like him than to be locked up and forgotten about
But on the flip side, I'm more than sure that the families of all the people he massacred are more than pleased that he was hung like a common ciminal.

I've seen it, it's on youtube. To be honest it's not very graphic, just a load of jerky, grainy footage of him falling through the trap and then a few unclear shots of his hanging corpse.

Eh, I'm not going to say that I'm not "glad" to know that he is gone but I'm am going to say that I don't like how it was done! I'm against anyone getting executed and I honestly think that a "Hanging" is a little savage and should not have taken place. Honestly, I doubt that he would have been executed if George Bush was the president... but I'm not going to really go into that other than say that I don't agree with him on many issues.
I don't plan on looking for the video either... I don't see how anyone who get entertainment in seeing Saddam being hung... Really the idea of someone wanting to watch it seems savage aswell...

Won't argue your points of View, But Hanging Savage or not is still a lot more generous than even Half the things he did to poeple.
Personally I would have put him in front of a shooting squad. And told them to aim for the Knees ..

Meh... I will argue with yours though... Even though what he did do, I don't personally believe that he still should have been killed... Locked up for life YES, but the death pentality is just wrong... I'm a strong christian and bringing in this may make some people mad, but either way, the bible says that killing is wrong.. ten commandments etc... and treat others like you want to be treated... love your enemy as a brother... I don't believe that Saddam should have been killed.. and even though he was... hanging should not have been the option... if you HAVE to kill him... you should have done it a way that wasn't savage where he didn't feel anything... cause you know what? chances are he is burning in HELL right now... which is where he now has ALREADY been judged.... Putting him in front of a shooting squad makes you JUST AS BAD in my own views....

Life in prison, That would not have been punishment, that would have been gift to him.
