so there I was in the gym feeling all the confidence in the world from last weeks 275 press and going off of how easy that went up I thought I would be able to squeeze out 315...I was sadly mistaken...I got it up brought it down to my chest pushed it up about 4 inches off my chest and then I was done...with a capital DONE....315 may be a lil further away than I thought...well atleast I have something to work towards

I know....but I had it set in my head that I could do it so when it didnn't go like planned I was pretty disapointed

..yeah, the weight adds up quick. A 15% increase is a huge jump in bench, regardless of how easy the past lift went. Good luck on 315.

well that is alot! Just be glad that you had the will power to want to do it. You will eventually get there. We all have faith in ya! ;)

315's a big number brother-man. You've gotta do what you've gotta do, but it's not a race. Moving up too fast on bench can be all kinds of bad for parts of your body you don't think about. Lower back and shoulders come to mind right off.

Take it slow. Every couple of days, rack up another 5er. 315'll come soon enough. :D

(Damn 315 is a huge number!!) haha
