Work has picked up so I have been very busy.
I worked Vacation Bible School a couple of days this week.
My son completed his coursework for his B.S. in Polymer & Fiber engineering at Auburn University.
I haven't posted much but I still read most everything.

Moving furniture is the worst part of most home projects.

What was worse was moving the kitchen stuff and the guy who KNOWS what he's doing told us this morning that what they do wouldn't work with the ceramic tile. Moved everything to the garage for nothing. Would of been livid but the owner made it up to us on the wood in the living room.

Been getting rained on like a SOB the past few days. Today's gully washer made some bad ruts in my lane and the town roads. We have had over 4" of rain the past 5 days and the flood reservoirs are almost filled up. Muddy brown water in all the streams and rivers. Folks to our east are being evacuated tonight in places.

You can say that again, Fred. This rain has been ridiculous, but at least it's cooler.
The last couple of days are the first I've had the a/c off for an entire month.

Today will wind up day 5 at work, then finally I get tomorrow off.
It's humid as hell outside, but we're going to get a few days where the weather is fairer.
Thank goodness!

With me? Since I last was posting regularly - work had finished after 15 years so I spent some time in Canada with a view to employment - not too much luck. Now I'm in California for a while, whilst continuing to look at fresh new options.

Thinking of selling my house to save costs too - it's a huge drain on the severance money in many ways.

That sucks about the job. Was hoping to finish baling hay today but had a bad thunderstorm that soaked it. More rain pushing in from the west so it will be few days till we can roll it up. Glad I got the square bales in last night even if they were green and heavy as hell.

It's no biggy - everyone had been expecting this ever since the financial crisis hit a few years ago - we were owned by a large American company who decided to exit Western Europe.

Do you live on a farm or have a reasonable amount of land then going by what you've said?

Watch that green hay. That stuff can be quite combustible.

With me I have been busy with Dr's appointments, and feeling really tired all the time.. so much for the renewal of energy in the second trimester.

Chasing after a very active Liam and trying to de-clutter the house in prep for new addition in Nov.
