Same here.
Oh joy!
Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas tunes, but having them played over and over.. (and it's usually the same dozen songs).. becomes a bit maddening after a while.
Oh, and there are some people around here who've had their annual vegas-type light displays up for a week now.
bahh! lol

The same is true of Christmas films. There's already a dedicated film channel over here that's changed it's name to Christmas 24 (usually Movies 24). I've just stopped caring about timing now.

Would be great if they would wait a little longer before starting the Christmas music.

We have a local station that went to 24/7 Christmas music about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I took my niece out for her birthday on the 5th and heard Feliz Navidad 3 times between the car and the mall.

I love Christmas, mind you, but I like to wait until after Thanksgiving to start the decorating. Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday...I hate the way people try to skip right over it and on to Christmas!!! :mad

Its very Taboo and regarded as bad taste for a mall to have decorations or Christmas Music before November 11, which is Canada's Remembrance Day ( Veterans Day ). It is a sign of disrespect for those who have fallen during the wars and for those in the military putting their lives at risk.

I only know Costco that starts putting stuff out, but they do not play any music what so ever.. They don't decorate the stores, just have stuff out to buy, but decorations will have started at Costco by now.

The day after however is a hay day for all the malls, small stores and such.. :willy_nilly:

Why are you not staff any longer Miss Ga. Peaches?

I needed to cut some stressors from my life and being on staff here was the quickest and easiest way to do so. It wasn't fun to come here anymore...plus I'm not exactly Miss Popular after refusing to join the lynch mob. OTz is a lot more relaxing to visit now that I can sign out and avoid the drama if I want to. :tooth
