She had a surprise anniversary party planned tonight for her in-laws and, b/c I was in desperate need of people to fill seats on my shift tonight (1 out on vacation and 3 called in sick), she rushed through her party and came in to work for me.

Seriously, V, thank you SO much for helping me out today. I was in a real mess and it's nice to know that I can always count on you.

Love you!!!

It IS overtime for her. She is one of two people from her shift that answered their phones and the other one couldn't get a babysitter.

To be fair, Robert is here too...but he's on call so he HAD to be here. :24:

No clue...can't see from over here, LOL But you DID give me the loud sigh when I told you that you were here all night, IJS And you're clear that you need to be here tomorrow, at least until 0100 hrs, right??? LOL

The sigh was because i have had next to zero sleep, and I am clear i will be here with bells on

Preaching to the choir!!! Man, when I first got hired I could work 16 twelve hour days straight and not be bothered by it. Now, by the end of my 3 day weekend, I'm like "shit, I need some time off!!!" :24:

Wow, retract the claws there, Whiney McGhee!!! Every one of us has been there and done that. Sucks, but it's a part of the job.

Reason #897,459...because she just brought me a Pumpkin Spice latte even though I didn't ask for one AND she got it the way I always order it (non-fat w/ whip).

Do 89 12 hr. days without a day off sometime! While still running a farm and 5 rental properties. Made an assload of money that year and paid cash for the truck I still drive with the plow on it. Was doing almost that much when I had my heart trouble 5 years ago. That stuff will put you in the grave quick! I must say the wife used to get up at 3 am and make me breakfast everyday and pack a lunch while I ate it.
