Does it matter to anyone that school was actually over? She completed all of her requirements for graduation. Classes had ended. If we're going to talk about school "rules" and whether or not she knew them, do these school "rules" specifically say they still apply to you at a meaningless ceremony after you are technically not even a student anymore? Nitpicky, but so is the lame egotistical bullshit this pricipal played. he needs to grow a set of balls, give the kid her piece of paper and fuck off into the sunset.

I expect that child lacked getting a belt across the ass while growing up.
She probably had the attitude "what can they do to me I am out of school now"

Can you really blame the school....if you let it go then what happens next year...some other child may start saying anything from the teachers small boobs just cant compare and how she passed without sucking off her science teacher.

People have gone that route (lawsuit) through school sports and have always lost. No different here, school function.
The girl supplied what she was going to say, she changed it, and now she has to pay the cost.

There is alot of difference...in the case you mention...the audience is cheering for him while he goes across the stage....not his fault

How many reference does a preacher make to "Hell" in Church during a mass.. Many more than he will of "Heaven".. :willy_nilly:

The word could have been rabbit...intentionally going out of ones own script and saying rabbit wouldbe improper.

i'd rather stick to the subject matter.If my kid said 'hell' in a school speech, I'd have no problem whatsoever.
And fuck may be acceptable to you as well...but the word hell at that school was not acceptable which is what this is based upon.
Personally I wouldnt care if the child said hell...but rules are rules and in place for a reason

The word hell may be acceptable for you, but it may not for others.
Where do you draw the line as to what words are acceptable?
I love civilians in large crowd gatherings for events. Rules and procedures are in place, and it those rules are enforced, it's usually due to the overzealousnous of the authorities and NEVER due to the actions of some of the idiots who attend that gathering LOL
Some of you may not realize this, but kids have not been getting their diploma's at high school graduations since they started having them, either due to the actions of the student or their family. Thing is, now it's big news and everyone feel likes someone has been wronged.
Girl knowingly broke the rules, changed her speech and she got hit with it.
As for students families making disturbances, you have 400 students to graduate and if each student takes an extra minute to get their diploma because their family is making to much noise, that's adding an extra 6.5 hours for graduation LOL Thing is, people tend to forget how long these ceremonies can take when people can get out of hand.
