North Dakota has never been a go-to state for a lot of folks, unless they come here for a specific reason. I don't think a lot of people, when planning a vacation, say; "Hey! Let's go to North Dakota!"

My question is, how many of you have ever been in North Dakota for more than one day. This will weed out those who have passed through on their way to somewhere else.

Let's see...

South Dakota has Badlands, Mount Rushmore and Wall Drug (are they still in business? LOL).

Exactly what does North Dakota have:p

I've been to Fargo when I was a kid. My uncle's mom used to have a pretty nice house on a lake or something, and the family went for like a week or so.

should i just start bumping the thread for you now? :D

:24:

Might be a good idea! :p

Where is this place you speak of? :24:

South of Manitoba, north of South Dakota. East of Montana, West of Minnesota!

you lost me at more than a day, i once drove south from MB but was in MN by lunchtime
Exactly this; A LOT of folks pass through here on the way to somewhere else. Most don't have a destination within the state.

North Dakota has better badlands than South Dakota. Seriously! The North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park is breathtaking. There are quite a number of historic places. Wide open spaces with fresh air. Friendly folks who will come to help you if you land up in a jam.
Companies in big cities bump NoDakkers to the top of the hire list because we're well known for our work ethic. We call in sick on the day of our own funerals and are back on the job next day.

Nope never been there. What's there to do?

Revel in a good life!

yea, never been to south dakota

this could be the greatest non thread ever

Youre uncle's mom's cabin was, most likely, in Minnesota.

I hear the job market's really good up there, but there's been more people moving up there than there are houses being built. Any truth to this?
