As the title suggest, what is it that makes you buy a car? I don't mean as "I need to move around", we all do. I mean is it fuel economy, looks or something else?

My car was bought by looks and performance all the way....the gas mileage is marginal at best (22 city 26 highway) 14 gallon tank....I have a sports gear I can put it in if I want to be "race" mode, but it is not super fast by any stretch....I want an upgrade!

My vehicle has to be a truck. 4X4 is a prerequisite where I live. It has to be functional. The one in my avatar is a used one I picked up in early October. It's got a few more bells and whistles than I'm used to, but, I didn't buy it because of them. I do like the looks if it, though.

Since I live in cold, snowy, and icy Maine, any vehicle I purchase must be either front wheel drive or a 4X4.

I've never owned a back-wheel drive car. And I don't plan on changing that anytime soon either.

Not good for driving in snow these rear drive cars. My brother has one, and it was a total farce driving in the snow. Doing a three point turn is dangerous in one of them
