2 dates so far off the dating website. No spark with either guy. 2 more prospects... meeting one tomorrow night and the other Friday for lunch so we'll see how it goes. Did I mention dating sucks? :thumbdown

On a side note I received a birthday present today from my recent ex. Just books, but I'm still confuzzled by it. We're not speaking... so why would he send me a present? He doesn't want to work things out, so why bother??? Ugh. :willy_nilly:

So the date tonight went much better. He was very funny, nice and absolutely adorable. I think I may see him again.

My think I sprained my foot... and wrecked my back a bit. And I can't stop laughing at myself.

It was a pretty rough weekend. Friday I found out my best friend's mom was in the hospital. She might have cancer... so we'll find out results of the biopsy this week. They had to deflate one of her lungs to get to the tumor, so she was in a lot of pain. I went to see her on Saturday... and just the things she said was almost like she was saying goodbye. Kept telling her daughter to take care of her dad. So sad.

I did get to go to the renaissance festival on Sunday and had a good time, but still, I'm just so worried about my bf's mom. I've known her since I was five, so she's kind of like a second mom to me.
