Someone came on my property last night. They cut a Crepe Myrtle to the ground we have babied for 5+ years. They cut several limbs off of a Japanese Magnolia. Threw the clippers in my yard and slashed one of my truck tires. I filed a police report.

My facebook status:

Vandals! You really are scum. Not sure if you are just out to destroy other people's property or if you have a beef with me. If you have a beef with me step up and grow a backbone.

Oh, I would be mad as hell too!!!! We have been vandalized at our property and I had to talk my hubby into not talking my 22 and waiting for them to return. The 22 is not much of a gun, it's unregistered and Joe would get into more trouble than what they did.

Saying all that, I would buy some cameras. Got any ideas what you are going to do? You think it was a once time thing?

Sorry to hear that, Fred. What a drag.....

We've had our mailbox (at the street) stolen and/or destroyed a couple of times. Country fun, yanno? Anywho.... hubby has the mailbox bolted to the post and the lid bolted to the mailbox itself. Haven't lost it yet.

..... but the worst thing is when someone comes onto the property and steals car parts in our fenced lot! It's about 300+ feet from the house out by the garage, so unless I get a guard dog out there it will most likely continue. Bastardos!
