It Rained Fire................

.... for a few minutes.

This is my first attempt at shooting fireworks. I did a bunch of reading before I went and followed the instructions to the letter but I can see I have to make some adjustments in the shutter speed next time I try this.

Here's a couple to start with. I hope you enjoy 'em and I'll post some more later on.

It's harder than it looks in the pics. There isn't a lot of time to change settings while the show is going on. Besides that it's hard to see exactly what's going on in the shots when you look at 'em on the camera. I'm ok with 'em considering they were my first attempt.

The last one ( above ) reminds me of my fire breathing ex wife.

Well PJ I took 180 shots in total and kept about 1/2 of 'em. What really pisses me off is all the reading I did said to shoot with an exposure time of 1 - 2 seconds and that's what I did. imo I should have sped it up quite a bit. Anywhoo....here's a few more....
