You may say why didn't you pm one of us. That is a very easy answer. I didn't want too. Anyway everyone has the right to know this.

Why is it that we see threads get closed by one mod, and another mod gets a the bright idea to post in it. Next thing you have a conversation going. So instead of showing how superior you are to the rest of us and posting in threads you already closed. How about reopening those harmless threads and letting everyone post in them? Considering it is kind of rude to the O.Poster to be doing so and they can not themselves.

Yes there was a question in there some where.:D

I blame Natasha, or Maulds.

They usually blame me.

It's usually because the general point of the thread has been lost or a question perhaps answered, or like Thorny's thread that time, already locked.

To add, I don't know why we choose to post in it....sometimes there's just something else to add.

But my point for a thread to be locked, and then for mods to go back and forth having a convo is kinda rude.

Im actually talking about the In/Out thread which you closed, and Audraa decided to reopen to comment to you. Then you did the same to comment to her. Cool we had one from a newb just like it. But the newb who posted it had 4 posts and dipped out of here. The IN/Out thread was started by a newb who is becoming active. She should be getting the tokenz. Not someone who isn't here.

It's not really a case when closing duplicate/similar threads to close the one from the less active member, just the original one gets kept because it was there first.

You see it as rude, that's fine, I personally don't in some cases like adding something useful to the thread (Like something Veronica had to say in a locked thread not so long ago) but I can see why sometimes it could be construed as rude.

Oh... I had not thought of the tokenz issue... you certainly make a good point here Tom....

I can see the whole he had the first thread thing. But when a mod opens it to take a jab at another mod. The you open it just to defend yourself. How can you sit there and say it is not rude to the OP who can not post in thier own thread?

I wouldn't have said my In/Out thread was a dupilcate. The other thread 'Daily attendence' is for people to let you know if they are in the forum. Not to say Hello or goodbye. But at the end of the day. What you say goes, and I will respect that.

Can't make the rain stop fallin'. Can't make the mods stop moddin'
But them having thier own convos in a thread they closed is not modding. It is dicking around and fucking rude. But of course you will never get one of them to admit it.

It was clearly a joke between us.

It just seemed a little too similar in my opinion. Going by some posts in both threads, apologies again if it seemed rude.

I have yet to be irritated by any mod decision whatsoever. This place is really quite easy going, and I just choose to be thankful for it. I was a mod (don't think I ever had to do much moderating because there were like 3 people) and they're really just doing the best they can to preserve the forum.

I had my own forum for 3 years, and I had 5 mods. I know how hard it can be to keep everyone happy.

Joke or not. Can just anyone post in that thread. No we cant. So why should we be subjected to ya'lls joking? Look at the member Modding the mods. You have a mods room use it.:24:
