Oh, and I was contacted yesterday by someone at a headhunting agency looking to hire someone for a local Senior Network Administrator position. I'm hoping and praying that it pans out... cause boy do I ever need a new job with all of the shit going on right now.

So, I talked to the recruiter a little while ago. The job is about 45 minutes away, which isn't necessarily ideal, but certainly doable. I've mainly just become spoiled with my 5 minute commute every morning. :24: The job looks like it's well within my abilities, and the starting wage is actually evidently more than what I'm making now, like 10% more I think she said. They've evidently only interviewed one person so far and are looking to hire someone relatively quickly.

So, being Mr. Negativity... I've already decided somewhere in my head that I'm going to hear back from the recruiter about the job tomorrow telling me that they're not interested. It seems as though pretty much nothing else ever works out in my life, so why should this.
Maybe it's time to go to bed... the self-loathing thing really kicked itself into high gear a few hours ago.

oh, and five day weekend incoming.
But unlike most people's, mine doesn't start until Thursday.
I got lucky. BIO is optional tomorrow, so I managed to get a 5 day weekend. I daresay after the last week that I really need it.
