i have one FB and could careless what ppl think if i don't add them or delete them. If they ask why i deleted them, i usually tell them up front why i deleted them. normally its because of rude or crude comments. plus i section ppl off into different categories, so each one can only see certain things. HOWEVER, the last few months with the murder at one of my rental properties had everyone wanting to be added just to read the details, so i need to delete about 20-30 ppl soon.

I don't normally let my FB get above 100 ppl as it is fact that you can only truly recall or have any sort of true 'friendship' with 95 ppl. Anything above that to me is like trying to have a popularity contest or, in my eyes, makes a person look like a loser and i'm less likely to trust them.

most are people i went to school with or know from out and about. It's by no means a popularity contest to me. I just started adding ppl I've been doing work for which was probably a bad idea.

I do the same thing with the groups. There's a family member who kept hassling me about adding them, even though it was the last thing I wanted to do. I can't even fathom the drama that would have been caused if I refused, so I just completely restricted them so they can't see/do anything with my page. I got questions about that too, which I just replied "oh your facebook must be broken".

Gotta love how facebook can cause so many problems. :thumbup

My facebook I find useful. Now I have blocked a few from my newsfeeds because I don't care they had a bowel movement. I have a few friends who play games only. Every time I see they are playing "Cornhole Bingo" then I "x " their post & block all future "Cornhole Bingo" posts.
