I think your post sums up how many of us feel from time to time. I will make a post I think is interesting and others will comment on only to see it scroll off page one with one or no comments. I will make a post that is just a gripe or an observation and it will get 100's of views and close to a 100 responses. I like you and enjoy your posts.

I think because this board has members all over the world it tends to be hyperactive or dead at varying times.

Hang in there and keep posting. To the best of my knowledge you have not done anything to offend anyone. I was a member almost 2 years before I broke 100 posts.

Secondly.... I've been at OTz a little while.... and at times I feel like I am truly invisible. (Not talking about being invisible as an option here).

I make threads and if you look at some of them.... very few other posters may respond. I don't know why. Maybe the subject matter isn't their cup of tea. Maybe the members who do post keep them from posting. I just don't have a clue.

...... but here I am anyway. And for now.... I plan on staying and making threads and posting and welcoming newbies to OTz.... etc.......

I don't always have a lot of time to post so I just tend to look at any threads where the title sounds interesting, I never look at who started it or anything like that. I also tend to skim read many threads which I then think "I'll reply to that later/tomorrow when I have more time" but then I just forget lol.

I find it interesting that some of the more popular members have come in this thread saying they understand and feel the same way.

I must admit that at times I have felt invisible too. But then I realize that I don't respond to a lot of posts, what makes me think people are going to respond to mine? Just because people don't respond, doesn't mean they don't read and enjoy what you say.

That is a good point. I also find those who have posted pictures of themselves I tend to put a face with their posts and that is another level of perception.

There are times i feel best is not to write anything, maybe others don't like what i write, or don't like me..mostly i feel ignored...
but then again i think stupid lol maybe it is me and others around me act this way because am not very well communicating with others i mostly put short answers and do not quote a lot to make conversations on the forum ..
i keep a distance myself even i talk a lot here ..

also if you not active a lot there is not much chance other members to get to know you ..

I like her a lot too :nod: and I am learning a lot from her. She had become of my my bestest buddies here @ OTz and is one reason why I am sticking here too despite I have the same feeling as her.

We had been both thinking to give up and leave Otz. But we're giving it our 2nd look with fresh set of eyes and maybe should include more heart eh? Maybe it will work :ninja

I think I do understand where you're coming from ( pls correct me if I am wrong to get that vibe) Given I've only been here a few months and my very first forum! There are lots of times I feel I dont belong especially if some of our posts as new members/non VIP are ignored/ taken for granted ( as maybe we might feel at that given moment) Or when the thread goes off to conversation among groups of established members and we don't know what they're talking about. But I learned to thread though and not take things too personally. I have learned to make new friends....esp as Keight said even those I never expected I would really be good friends with and have a good rapport with . It's amazing what patience and time will do IF one just hangs around

That given, I just wanna say that I've never expected to be good friends with you and know so much about you! And many others too whom I've known more and more and learned to like them a lot. I've never looked at forum that way b4.....Hence I had been thinking it's an awesome pay off to hang around !
