How many of you use coupons? Have you ever done as good as the people who take it to the extreme?

And for that matter, how do you say it? Coo-pons or Cue-pons?

Coo-pon :)

I don't do this much but I know someone on another forum who does, it's like an art form. I can't imagine having the energy!

OOOoooooohhhh!!!! I LOVE couponing!!! The most I've ever saved though is like $80.00. I wish I could get some of the deals those women that do extreme couponing get!!

I watched last night, and I think it's tonight it will show the guy getting 40 bucks FROM the store!

Can you imagine?!

I think I may stop going to the commissary, if I can find places that double coupons, etc.

I go to Harris Teeter on Thursdays, they have triple coupons on Thursdays, so I can make money off coupons. Last time I went on a Thursday I got $200 of groceries for $32.00.

So I'm the only one who says cue-pons?

DO you only buy what you need or do you get stuff just 'cause it's a good deal? That's one of the things that bugs me about the show- who really needs 50 bottles of Maalox?

I don't know if this works as well in the UK. Some of our stores do vouchers but a lot of them restrict you to one voucher per transaction, so unless you scan everything through individually you can't go very far, and I can't even imagine a scenario where you could actually get money back from a store!

If i find them on products i happen to pick up I use them. I don't go out of my way to clip coupons as i really don't buy that much food.

I don't do like those people do.There's no sense in buying 77 bottles of mustard :smiley24: I would never eat all of it. I only use coupons on the things I actually need and will use. I guess that's why I'll never be an extreme couponer!!

Cooopon. My mom was extreme she really did well. Me, I will carry ones of something I get a lot, but I don't go out of my way. My mom was an expert. We had them arranged by item, in date order and she would plan her shopping around the coupons.

Coo-Pons

When I buy a Sunday paper, they come in it. I'll clip for products I regularly use. The rest I toss.

Coo-pins. Like in the Ron White joke, it's an inside thing with my dad lol.

I love that show! When the special first came out, I did tons of research on how I could do it. Turns out I can't =[ The stores here don't double. But oh well, major props to those people. They're like my idols.
