Well well now.... I say " axe " instead of " ask " cuz I see Americans sayin' that all the time when I watch tv. It's rubbin' off on me.

That's like a friend of my little sisters'. She always said "pikza" (pizza), "peksi" (Pepsi), "bafroom" (bathroom), and of course "axes". :24:

According to me ( Brits are rubbin' off on me as well ) mom I used to call squirrels " squirdles " and sheep " mutzmutz" . Don't axe me why. I was too young at the time to remember.

W0W!! You've got amazing talent :D

You must also possess a lot of patience and determination to be able to make those look cool and work :thumbup

Hope you don't mind sharing me tips how to make such planes. My son loves flying planes/helicopters. We've wasted massive amounts of $$ buying pre- made ones or some model kit and they easily break after a few times of flying. Thanks :)

HOBBIES! I have some. My main hobby is collecting model horses. I mostly have plastics with a few porcelains and a couple resins thrown in. My collection has been packed away for a few years so I don't have a picture of the whole thing. I have lots of pics of individual models, if anyone's interested. naughtysmiley.png (Seriously, don't get me started... :ninja)

I also enjoy doing cross stitch. This one is my favourite.

Current work in progress (the horse will be brown when I'm done):

And then there are my blankets. These are some of the quilts I've made. Except for the baby blankets they are all twin sized.

Thanks.

It's all about patience really. If you want to make them fly right you have to take your time and do it right.

I only have two pieces of advice. One is for your son to join a club and hook up with a certified instructor. To do it any other way is simply too expensive and dangerous. It won't cost him anything except the dues for the club and insurance which is cheap. Instructors don't charge in a club setting. The second bit of advice is don't start off with something fancy. He's got to start off with a proper trainer so he can learn the basics. As his flying skills increase the type of plane he flies will change. There's a lot more to it than what meets the eye but if he can walk and chew gum at the same time he can learn to fly.

One last thing. They all end up destroying themselves at some point in their life. All it takes is a sneeze or fart at the wrong time and it's all over. The up side to that is once you get to the level I acheived it rarely happens unless it's a part failure. It's all part of the hobby.
