When the Chinese delivery guy knocks on the door unexpectedly and there's no answer on the phone, you know it wasn't a mistake.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled we're having Chinese. I'd just be more thrilled if I hadn't spent the last hour cooking. :24:

Plus, the Chinese was ready. My dinner wasn't yet ('cause he left early!!!) and I don't think he ate today, so it worked out really well.

I cooked last night, but now I don't have to cook tonight.

And he didn't know I was cooking because he works 2 pm to 10 pm, so he's not home when I cook dinner. And I usually wait for him to get home to cook, unless I tell him ahead of time.

Yep. My daily schedule runs about 5 hours off normal, because of his shift.

The major plus to that is we don't use alarm clocks, and regularly get up around noon.

:-o wow I could not imagine cooking so late at night.

I suppose it's just my schedule though. I struggle to stay up past 10:30pm and I wake around 7:30 naturally.

We usually stay up until about 2 or 3 in the morning, so 10 doesn't feel late at all. Most days I won't have even been up 12 hours at that point.

I think today I woke up at 1030. The downside is that in the winter sunlight is a rare sight.
