Kimmy, my little joke aside- everybody knows who we are discussing and to my knowledge this is the only case where somebody has come forward to complain.

So, the issue isn't whether or not bullying goes on, but wether TPWSNBN was bullied.

How can this not get personal?

Everybody agrees- Bullying = Bad.

Now... was TPWSNBN'd bullied is the only open question.
 
V I think you should be around more to experience first hand how this certain member provokes others.

That being said, I'm sure your opinion is also a good eye opener because you stepped in at the end and were able to give an objective opinion.

My opinion is that though I am not here often, I have noticed Kimmy's behavior out the corner of my lurking radar, and she does seem to ask for every ounce of unpopular opinion.

The personal attacks on her relationship are because she brings up her relationship as a reason for her behavior. The personal attacks on her age are because she claims to be mature, and so on and so forth.

I have to agree with the member who have said that if you can deal it out, you should be able to take it.

I was a 19 year old or younger once on a forum, and I put my foot in my mouth and made enemies. Shit, I still do.

But I also took whatever disfavor I fell into as a result. She's made it pretty clear only one opinion counts to her.

So as long as Ed continues to be sweet to her I'm sure she'll survive ;)

This would be a mod getting "involved". And yes it is indeed wholly accurate.

Mind you Audraa is my friend and I think its great she made this thread. However, if you want to end this kind of behavior you should make sure your staff understands your viewpoint if you wish for your rules to be properly enforced. ALSO, this scab has been getting picked and picked and picked and picked. I've seen the American threads since I've started coming here. WE ARE TIRED OF THE SHIT. We have dealt with them and dealt with them. Peter has been a member here for so long and we know and like him. So we can put up with his little jabs. No biggie, but you get someone new in here and we're likely to pull their head off for the shit. Sky did good in trying to get the shit to stop and he's not even a mod. I think he should be commended. BUT to tell people they cant post about America is bullshit. Freedom of speech and all. I'm down. But we shouldnt be called bullies because we voice our dislike for people's opinions either. Sure we may cut deep, but if you're trying to get along with everyone and not start anything, would you even go there to begin with?

I blew it off mainly because I knew she was very frustrated with the hole she dug herself in to and couldn't crawl out of. As far as I was concerned it was a kneejerk reaction lashing out at the next person that came along. I suppose I could have reacted but thought better of it because it would have given her what everyone many others were doing and that was a continual beating. I saw she got a royal ass kicking, which she deserved, and said " not from me ".

I like her... she's smart and actually uses her head on most occasions but she's still 19 and has a way to go. We've all been there and if your feisty as she is loosing isn't an option. That will change.

Now with reference to Springer closing the thread. I was actually disgusted enough to pm another mod about it because prior to him " seeing where the thread was going " and closing it there had been at least two other mods that had taken their shot at her. It wasn't so much that he closed it that bothered me, it was his comment which was a week late. In any event my pm was never answered as has been the case with any other issue I've raised via pm before. That tells me a lot.

I dunno, I tend to keep my nose out of shit like this; have no idea what's going on here tbh, not only that, I've only been a member of this forum for a couple weeks now but I've seen this happen time and time again in other forums; I suppose if I were in your shoes, I would say to keep the rules relaxed but infract those who bully other members and those who stir the pot and play the victim.

When I was 19, which was some 2,000 years ago, :D we were accountable for our behavior. Stomp down fits didn't cut it. We respected people... there was no choice... it was expected. The older I've gotten, the more I've seen the demise of the younger generations. It's a sad state of affairs out there in this big ol' world we live in. :nod:

How about we just have the members tell us mods what we can and can't post from now on? You know... since we're only allowed to contribute and say or do whatever it is you guys want us to do. Should we have a separate set of rules to make you happy? This is getting ridiculous.

The mod in question didn't break any rules folks. And quite frankly when you kick the hornets nest you can certainly expect to be stung, by members AND mods. Just the way it goes, on this board and in real life. You don't want to be 'picked on' then don't fucking post in the debate section. If you can't stand to have your opinions or things you share questioned than don't post them on the open forum. It's just that simple.
