LOL
Why don't you hunt down another guilty pleasure that has alot of pleasure but won't leave you feeling terribly guilty?
maybe, I've tried switching to snacking on Cracottes instead with pate, is Pate fattening?
LOL

Been to Spain - never saw one. . .or shall I say, noticed one.
I'm livng in the UK. Married a Brit.
Pate is delicious but I bet it's not that good for you. Nothing truly delicious ever is.
My guilty pleasures are... browsing wedding sites. I'm not engaged, I just love wedding browsing, looking at different venues and themes and so onthe theme I want for myself changes every 6 months haha.
I also like trashy magazines. I have a subscription to the BBC Focus magazine, which is all science, but I love the occasional cheap 'that's life!' mag where it's all stories like 'my dog ate my baby!' and 'my mum ran off with my husband, and now she's pregnant!'

Oh God poor you. (jk)
Yeah they're very common down here in southern Spain. if you were just visiting, many hotels aimed at foreigners probably don't bother with them these days. Every apartment I've lived in over here has them.
Unfortunately, pate is fattening. :/
I take it you like savory snacks over sweet snacks?
LOL, tell me about it!
...I assure you though, he's not a Chav.
Really? hmmm...
...When ever we've gone to Spain, we stayed in a villa. They were fairly modern builds so maybe that's the reason why I've yet to see one?
at times this place is a guilty pleasure...then again I get caught looking at a thread I normally wouldn't and I say
"I should send this as a reply, but I think they may get offended..." then I say the words WWPD and I wait for it and it happens...and I feel better....

Pardon the stupidity, but what is: WWPD?
What would be your ideal, 'perfect' wedding (and dress) at the moment?
Yeah, I don't have much of a sweet tooth but love crisps, nuts etc
you got that right (what would Parka do)I'm probably wrong but I read that as 'what would Peter do?'![]()
Could you eat nuts and seeds without the added salt?
You could also maybe try eating lightly-salted (or no salt added) pretzels and dip them in spicy mustard, too?
Ooooooh!! Me too! :ninja I watch Say Yes To The Dress on TLC religiously and I like looking through wedding magazines too.My guilty pleasures are... browsing wedding sites. lol well that's a start, nothing worse than a chav!
that is odd. perhaps you just didn't notice them? generally I've lived in very modern apartments here and they've always had a bidet, and the old ones too.
maybe they've stopped putting them in villas?
I'm probably wrong but I read that as 'what would Peter do?'
Ooh right now? A Halloween wedding, not like a cheap costume party/ghosties style thing but more like fall colours and pumpkins, that sort of thingI'm stuck on dresses, I think they all look lovely! Right now I think those mermaid tail ones look very pretty, but I think you have to be very slim to pull that sort of thing off and I'm more of an hourglass shape.
you got that right (what would Parka do)
:nod::nod::nod::nod::nod::nod::nod:
yeah maybe, you're making me hungry now!![]()
haha, yeah, he's a good guy.![]()
...Very shy, geeky, well-spoken / mannered with a little naughty streak in him.:thumbup
It's probably me, ed... More than likely, I didn't take any notice of them.
Were you born / raised in Spain?
Nope I'm a British Expat, running away from a crumbling country that's being overrun with chavvy ignorance and sloth. Been living here for 7 years now. I'm originally from Lahndan.
Ah, my husband was born in London - though he sounds like David Attenborogh rather than Danny Dyer, LOL.
Geeze, I honestly can't get over how many Brits I've met who feel the same way you do about their own country. . .this very much includes my husband. He HATES it here and to be fair, the only reason why we haven't left is because of me. Yes, I'd move in a heartbeat, but I do worry about up-rooting our daughter.
Was it easy for you to find work over there? Do you have a family there with your or are you on your own?![]()
