Yeah they're very common down here in southern Spain. if you were just visiting, many hotels aimed at foreigners probably don't bother with them these days. Every apartment I've lived in over here has them.
at times this place is a guilty pleasure...then again I get caught looking at a thread I normally wouldn't and I say
"I should send this as a reply, but I think they may get offended..." then I say the words WWPD and I wait for it and it happens...and I feel better....

Pate is delicious but I bet it's not that good for you. Nothing truly delicious ever is.
My guilty pleasures are... browsing wedding sites. I'm not engaged, I just love wedding browsing, looking at different venues and themes and so on
the theme I want for myself changes every 6 months haha.
I also like trashy magazines. I have a subscription to the BBC Focus magazine, which is all science, but I love the occasional cheap 'that's life!' mag where it's all stories like 'my dog ate my baby!' and 'my mum ran off with my husband, and now she's pregnant!'

that is odd. perhaps you just didn't notice them? generally I've lived in very modern apartments here and they've always had a bidet, and the old ones too.

I'm stuck on dresses, I think they all look lovely! Right now I think those mermaid tail ones look very pretty, but I think you have to be very slim to pull that sort of thing off and I'm more of an hourglass shape.
Could you eat nuts and seeds without the added salt?
You could also maybe try eating lightly-salted (or no salt added) pretzels and dip them in spicy mustard, too?

My uni hours usually mean I have the afternoon free. I generally have the tv on in the background if I have work to do, if not, I could quite happily give all of my attention to the trashy day time tv

Nope I'm a British Expat, running away from a crumbling country that's being overrun with chavvy ignorance and sloth. Been living here for 7 years now. I'm originally from Lahndan.

Yeah, Britain is being ruined by the British: the growing number of intellectually challenged chavs and their "culture" they bring with them: ignorance, racism, bigotry, intolerance, violence etc etc. It saddens me, to be honest, I barely even recognise the country these days. Certainly not the people. I get sad at the mindlessness of British TV these days, how consumer driven the culture is, and how the people seem to hate each other.
Yeah pretty easy. There's a large english speaking expat community here, I know people who've been here for 15 years and don't know ay Spanish at all.
Right now tho things are tough, the costa del sol is bankrupt, so work is thin on the ground.
