I filed my taxes on Friday night, getting about $850 by the 11th

I have a feeling mine is going to be over $1000 this year, it's already over $800 in January (yay!).
How'd you work that out 5 months before?
Or do you get all yours back?
I hope you go to an agent coz working AND studying = big tax return.:thumbup
Plus...you shuld be able to claim your text books shouldnt you?
Lol it was just a guess. I mean, last pay slip I got which was mid-January it was $800+ so my guess is it will be over a grand in no time, my rate went up a fair bit since I turned 19, plus public holiday pay is great too.
I usually get all mine back yeah, I earned under $6000 usually, and I hope it's the same this year lol.
Not sure if I can claim my textbooks, god I hope so, expensive bloody things lol.
Oh I never come anywhere CLOSE to getting all that I pay in back. They screw single people w/ no kids over big time!!! :mad I put out almost $5K in federal alone and I'll be lucky to get $1K back and that's w/ claiming head of household!!!

I got one back. Waiting on Matt's, which I think he can pull online, and then my second one.
Working persons pay taxes. In the beginning of the new year, the government gives us back money.
I got my W2 on Saturday. Did the Free File through H&R Block website the same day for my federal. Also did my state and local taxes as well.

I've gotten mine, still waiting on PS's. As always, our refund will go to property taxes.
I haven't received mine yet. But am hoping I'll get some back from Uncle Sam this year. Last year, I had to pay $3100 back. :eek

It was in the news. It may have just been Georgia...lemme go check the story. They said it was taking about a week to get the refund money back in the bank accounts again.
Okay, I just checked it and it's state income tax refunds in Georgia. I was gonna post the link but I keep getting an error on the webpage. *shrugs*

youll probably get it sooner then that. Maybe on Monday.
