I hate grass. And the smell of freshly cut grass. It's itchy and makes me sneeze. I stay away from it, green or otherwise. And I don't mean grass.

Yes! But I would rather live with my decision then going through life wondering what if. Life is about taking chances. Can't steal 2nd if your foot is on 1st. You may make it to 2nd safe or you may be tagged out, but you wont know if you dont try.

So yeah I tend to wonder sometimes if the grass is greener. If its something I really want i'll take the leap and live with my decision if its really not greener. but sometimes it is :)

I've done that as well many times and generally have been ok with my decision. The ones that have tripped me up were made like I said before in the sperm of the moment or because something pissed me off. Those are the worstest ones and probably the only ones I regret.

Yesterday was history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, and that is why it is called the present.

Wise turtle.

Don't ever, ever, ever, ever regret decisions you've made! Whether they ended up being good or bad, these are the experiences that will ultimately make you a stronger, more confident person. I've had a few things in my life happen where the grass DEFINITELY wasn't greener, and everyone would always ask me if I regretted making the choices I had. The answer has always been no, and I'm a better woman, mother and person for it. I'm not perfect, no one is. It's only human to screw up, but seriously, IMO, don't ever regret.

Funny you should mention that. I cut a hell of a lot of grass in the summer and it makes me itch and sneeze as well. Looking after 3 huge farmyards keeps me hoppin', scratchin' and sneezin'. The weird thing is there's a lot of fences and I've never thought of crossing 'em. I suppose I cross 'em cuz how else would I cut the other side. Once done I'm relieved when I get back though and say to myself... " hey self... this side ain't so bad after all. "

Well I'm almost 59 years old. Lived and played hard and have to disagree with you. If you don't have any regrets you'll miss out on a lot because your life will stay the same. It's the regrets that teach you stuff and make you the stronger person.

That was pretty much the point I was trying to convey. You don't have to regret doing something in order for it to make you better. The way I think of it is "I know I messed up, it turned into a big chaotic mess and put me in a situation that'll take some time to get out of". As far as regretting it? No, I don't regret. Knowing that I made a mistake and being able to move on with my life is better than keeping regret. It's the equivalent of keeping a grudge. You hold on to that ill feeling your whole life and let it stew on the back burner when there is no need. You will never forget the mistakes you've made, never. But you can be the one to decide whether it makes you or breaks you. :2cents:

I'm not saying I hang on to things for years because I don't but like any human there are times when those old memories come flooding back. They don't last long like most things when you get older ( ain't that right Fifi ) but the thoughts still cross your mind. It's during those times that I've said to myself " hey... why you did that. " :D

I'm a tad wired. Yesterday was a 18 hour day. I'm pushing 17 so far today and the night is still young so I bend my descriptions a bit....

Meh, with the things men put us through, it's partially deserved. It's all a cycle. Women drive men crazy, which drives women crazy, forcing men to do things that drive them crazy.

So what's a guy to do when he sees his woman stumbling around the back yard? Reload. :D

Just kidding... I wouldn't shoot a woman.

A wise person once used these words of wisdom which have stuck with me:

The grass is always greener... over the septic tank.

Think about it.

lol! At least?! Marriage has become something so meaningless these days. It sucks. I wish I was back in the 1950s when men were gentlemen and women waited till they were married. Or maybe that's just my take on the 50s :D lol. All I know is, when my boyfriend proposes, I want it to mean he's going to be there for life. Not just a couple years. Which, he says I'm his soul mate, so, I think that means we'll be sittin' on a front porch, sitting in our rocking chairs and waiting for our grandkids to come visit us... together :)
