The F.A.Cup thread

watch it again, carrick arrives in the last moment from the side

You cannot go in two footed, with studs showing. It's violent conduct these days. I know you are of the old school where that sort of challenge was ok, these days it isn't. Gerrard was rightfully sent off but thankfully for him I doubt Fergie will be asking for his banning from the game, unlike Arsene Wenger.

Well yeah they would, because if you go in two footed and high like Gerrard you get sent off. And if you make contact in the area and go down you're risking giving a penalty away.

We need a second goal here, it only takes one good ball into the box from them. Not from corners though, we suck at them.

I used to really like Gerrard, that is until he supported the appointment of Hodgson, should of really said nothing but carried on playing for Liverpool

its what your supposed to fucking do. not everybody is a ship jumper like you, riera and agger.
It's about being a professional, Gerrard could have come out and lambasted Benitez at the end of his tenure, but he kept schtum and offered his support to ever came in.

Jumping ship is supporting other teams in the same league, not exactly what I did, nor would I have the stomach to do, Barcelona were one of my fave teams at the time

It speaks volumes that you've turned on your Captain, and without doubt the most instrumental player Liverpool have ever had, and key to what success they have had for the last 10 years for being nothing more than a consummate professional.
