The new 20-somethings:Why won't they grow up?

I haven't had a single call back from anywhere I've applied to either. And I've been sending off my CV to places since July.

And I don't see why I should have to move to another country. And it is impossible for me to do so especially as I only speak English (narrows down where I could emigrate to), I don't have a job or any qualifications
that other countries look favourably on (eg teaching or nursing).

Who told you that??:)

I've been trying a lot longer than that and haven't had any call backs, and no fucking way am I immigrating to another country, wtf am I gonna do go be homeless in Canada in the middle of winter hoping to find something with my meager work experience and job skills? GTFO with that shit, my chances of finding something are a lot better here.

in britain we see high property prices and mass immigration......the immigrants are housed as soon as they get here, but the british are put on a very long waiting list.....buying isn't an option either because the immigrants are pushing the average wage down because they're prepared to work for less

but the immigrants bring lot of money with them tooo!!

Australia should be hot at this time of the year??

lol true enough, though I have no means of getting to Australia at the moment, my immigration options would be limited to Canada and Mexico, LOL not a chance of Mexico, I wouldn't mind Canada but I'd have no place to go whilst trying to find something and I would likely not have any better luck finding a job there as I am here. I've put in 34 job applications this month alone, it's getting to be hard for someone to find work especially without some special skills or experience, makes me really regret dropping out of college.

Well in the UK we have a lot of shows about people who are thinking of moving to Australia and New Zealand. And neither of those countries want to let people in if they do not have specific skills. It is stated time and time again by Australian and New Zealand emigration officials. If you have skills like nursing and teaching, they make it a lot easier for you to emigrate becuase they need people to fill those jobs.

And I doubt America or Canada would be much more welcoming to let me go and be homeless there.

I'm sorry to hear that. The job market fucking sucks right now.

Oh, all that makes me feel sorry for you..I wish you the best of luck at all times:)

I don't think it's anything to do with laziness.

The sheer cost of living these days makes it so difficult.

When I left home at 17, 30GBP per week fed me really well. I paid 32GBP for a room per week.

Nowadays you'd be lucky to pay for your bus fare with that amount.

It's quite simply down to the fact that we're supporting the wealthy more now than at any other point since WWII.

Are you still living in Western NY? Finding a job out there is like finding a needle in a haystack, even when the economy is good.

I don't think anyone can migrate to UK, USA , Canada or Australia without carrying a gold load of money with him or her?? Even students have to deposit fees etc in advance to get there....

your kidding me right?...at this moment in time tens of thousands are arriving on these shores, middle east, africa(especially somalia) and asia.....the shadier your background the easier it is,but having nothing helps......if your a known terrorist they all but roll out the red carpet, give you a few 4 bedroom houses for your 4 wives and 17 children and guarentee that the children receive a university education..all provided by the tax payer of course
