NYU photography professor Wafaa Bilal

NYU photography professor Wafaa Bilal displays the digital camera mount, which he has had implanted in the back of his head as part of a year-long art project, at his apartment in New York December 7, 2010. The concept of the project, titled "The 3rd I", is based on the idea of capturing things subjectively, without the interference of a viewfinder, according to Bilal. For the next year, images from the camera will be streamed over the internet and at a museum in Qatar which commissioned this project. REUTERS/Jessica Rinaldi

awright . 20 of y'all looked at the story and didn't comment.

here's the picture. let's see a show of hands. who would consider having a camera, phone or computer chip mounted on their head?

can't hardly argue if i wouldn't do it either.

what if you had an accident that crushed your face and they wanted to replace your eye and your ear with electronic stuff?
would you go for that?

I wouldn't have any foreign objects embedded or otherwise attached to my body unless it were a medical necessity.
i can honestly say that all my screws are in tight. any skull x-ray will clearly show that.

they just had to screw the bones back together -- none of the soft parts got damaged.

who's monitoring the output? what do they do with the data? can it distinguish between masturbation and fornication?
:24:

the data is correlated with that from another implant in my liver. It used to be quite handy when I was heavy drinker. Nowadays it's practically redundant apart from the IPCC using it for a steady temperature measurement of the region I live in.

not using it for much more than peeing these days? all least it's doing somebody some good to monitor the temperature.

Torsion, the stitches were put in place to prevent it from happening again.
lemme guess, you were pumping iron and something went pop. i won't do that and i won't run unless i'm being chased.

my face got rearranged in '99 when one of my pups got trapped on a ledge and it crumbled when i went up after him. i was hugging the wall, so when it gave way, i smacked my face against it all the way down (about 40 feet)

the little shit made it down on his own while we were waiting for the helicopter to come scoop me up.
