It's December 1st 2010 and that means only 23 days before Christmas eve. Have you finished your shopping? Have you even started?..lol. I've created this thread because I wanted try and mend some broken fences on this board, it may not work but I think it's worth an attempt. Tis the season for stories and tales about how the holidays somehow brings people closer together..........

I wasn't sure how to go about this at first and then I thought to myself, what is the greatest gift you can give a person for Christmas? A new laptop?...lol...perhaps, but to you, my OTZ friends, I give you this thread, an opportunity to say something nice about somebody else, friendship, peace.

I'll begin.....you don't need to respond, just post something nice about anybody, anybody at all. Please....lets try?

The only present I buy is for my dad and Lois and that's a phone card! I did already get my X-mas cards out, and I do have some cyber friends I did, but I've known them for years and talked to them on the phone, etc. But everybody MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HART!!!

As far as mending fences, there was only one person that annoyed the hell out of me on a consistent basis here and I haven't seen him post for awhile and I put him on Ignore ;)

There's only one person around here that I didn't get along with as well, and the scum-sucking bastard doesn't post anymore, so all is good.

I'm kinda done with Amazon not pleased with their charging per item. S&H should suffice.
 
we draw names in my family. drawing is always held on Thanksgiving. this year i drew my pawpaw and hubby drew my mom.

kinda sucks cause my pawpaw is a man that litereally has EVERY.SINGLE.THING

shopping will happen as i see stuff while out and about that iknow will be good for whoever i draw for
 
I have a couple of packages that need to be sent, hopefully I'll get them out by weeks end so that they'll be sure to arrive on time. My brother lives in Toronto and my very best friend in the world lives in Ontario. I've started shopping for my family but I'm nowhere near being finished.

I had all my presents in my cart and Cyber Monday I couldn't shop and half of my gifts are out of stock now. :( I reshopped but wasn't able to find anything anywhere near as nice as what I had picked out. Everything on my list will be paid for on Friday...
