Unfortunately like the other airshow shots this year the sun was not in my favor but because I like this team a lot I want to post a few.

I did not add the rays coming off the right wingtips. It's kinda neat.



This is the manouver where they meet head-on, roll 90 degrees and pass each other. Some year I'll get the timing just right and get the actual thing. I just missed it by micro seconds even using machine gun burst on my camera. You can see by the smoke how close I got. Next year I'll zoom out and I'll get 'em.

It was a fantastic day. 35c and nary a cloud in the sky. Problem is the subjects were between me and that real bright yellow thing hence that lack of detail and lots of shadows.

Thanks. Why would it make you laugh. Those guys are probably doing close to 400 mph and they ain't that far apart. Most drivers can't keep it that straight when passing someone at 60. :eek

That's what I like about that shot. I've got a whack of 'em from previous years but never done seen me them rays before.

It makes me laugh because it looks amusing to see an upside down airplane hanging over a right side up one. Yes, I know that manouver takes talent.
