To be fair, Liverpool needed a game like this. They won't win the league, won't be anywhere near challenging in fact, but if they can win this game 4-0 or something it'll give them something to go on.

Until next week when they go to Tottenham.

Ironically, I'm kinda thankful that my boyfriend can't make it up to Manchester to meet with me as he supports Spurs and I would of had to put up with him if we got beat. Ah well, I'm stuck with a City, Birmingham and United fan...Should be fun.

Why would we want to do that? They're shit.

they're shit because of the glory hunting so called fans, fans who only ever get to see they're team when they go to their town...how much better off would a coventry, ipswich, luton, norwich or lincoln be if local people bought their shirt and paid to go to home games?,instead of buying a united, liverpool or arsenal shirt and watching them on sky

i mean,i know people who 'support' the big clubs...i say support even though they've never seen them play in a stadium.....and they always want coventry to lose, its pathetic.....if we get promoted they might actually get the opportunity to see the team they support play......even though most probably couldn't even name the manager of their team

Bullshit, they are shit because the results don't always follow the play and they get relegated from the big leagues. Whether a team plays in front of 67 fans or 67,000 fans, they should always play to win, hasn't always happened.

Generally speaking, or at least in my case, the feeling is people support teams because it's ingrained in them because generations have. I've seen grandad's going to games with grandkids and it's good to see because at least they aren't jumping ship, although that's not completely wrong because people have a right to choose. However I don't agree with something I heard a while back, when Nottingham Forest went down to League One a few Forest fans were on the radio saying they were going to support Chelsea. That's wrong in my view because you should always support your club regardless of results. Regardless of where you are. Oh I've seen gloryhunters at Old Trafford, people who get impatient because we're not 3-0 up at half time. That's what gets me more. I don't have any problem with where fans come from as long as they don't always expect win after win and high scoring all the time, case in point today where we didn't play that well but won. Could have been impatience there.
