So, I had to take some pics!

Keep in mind, I'm a novice photographer at best, I hardly take photographs! :D However, feel free to give suggestions and tips! :thumbup

My backyard:

A barn that's down the road from me:

This is up hill from me. In the distance you can see where the two roads intersect. There's also a small house in the distance:

I like them. Scenic and colourful :)

The only thing that I personally would have done via a paint or other package is a light dusting of gradient EV reduction.

e.g. From the clouds/sky - have it at about -1 (or more to suit) and swipe that gradient filter downwards until it reaches 0 say just above the top of the house.

The reason I would do that? To remove the glare somewhat as it impacts the sky/tops of trees. The other two pics are just dandy though. :thumbup

Yea, that annoyed me a bit.

How exactly would I do this in paint?

I'm not familiar with the various versions (and some cheap ones) of Photoshop but you'd need something of that caliber rather than paint. I use Adobe Lightroom to sort out similar issues but that's not cheap.

Even some cheap cameras have EV compensation - but that has to be done at the time of the shot unless you have something like the Lightroom or similar package that can do that too.
