My point was he did ok against Algeria, what's to say he'll do well against Germany or Argentina, you know, where he'll be worked more.

Because Barry can play a holding role, which is what is needed.
I could go on all day about England's problems, personally I think they might struggle to beat Slovenia, which is of course what they have to do. But they will never beat a Brazil or an Argentina playing that shit, fact.
But at least Carragher's out of the Slovenia game, that's a good thing.

well, we've qualified for the last six World Cups and we're consistently in the top 20 at least, so I don't think we'll have any issues with continuing to do so
