Its the 4th time I've stayed there. I originally found the accom. on E-Bay. Paid $1000 for 7 nights....usually at least double that.

Thanks Siph...as the title said..."Happy snaps" I am NOT a photographer for anyone who may want to "critique" my lighting or whatever.

I took this on "night mode" (how technical) on my little digital....I think it came out OK

You can just see the Q1 building...tallest in the southern hemisphere

I've seen plenty of decent pics taken with 'mere' point and shoots.

Anyway, even if you don't see yourself as a photographer - whatever you think of your pictures, if they remind you of good times and bring back happy memories - their job is done. I love the first shot.

Yes, it may be *slightly* blurry, it may be *slightly* off kilter - but I like it nevertheless because of the lights, the feeling of being in a busy holiday area. It all serves to make the picture good.

I had no idea what the Q1 building was - so I googled it to find out

Thats how I like em too. They dont look so "set up" in my opinion.

We went to the top of the Q1 last year. You have to pay, but its worth it. You can see all the way south to Byron bay.
