lost me there anita, was reading through the thread and that caught my eye, I been coming here for ages, i picked up on it as I was recently banned from a vauxhall forum and i couldnt reply to the accusations..

I'm happy to report.... much better in the socket department. Still some pressure. But those da amn antibiotics are making me uncomfortable.
I didn't take any painkillers since this afternoon. :thumbup

I'm doing alright. Tired of pain when swallowing, but if I don't swallow the pain is only about a 1 or 2 so almost nonexistent. YAY It's the swallowing tho that sucks!
So is your pain actually gone or are you just being a tough girl and trying not to take meds?
I've been alternating Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen throughout the days as well as still using the numbing things...ummm Cepacol...lol couldn't remember the name. But I can't see myself coming off it yet either. It has helped me eat. woot
I'm glad you're feeling better. In your case, I'd definitely keep taking something.
Right now I have a mild pulling sensation and the area is tender. I don't want to block what I'm feeling with the painkillers because I want to make sure this thing is healing. I've talked to two people who had the same thing and they had to go back 2 or 3 times for irrigation and medicated packing. Ugggghhhhh...... I do not want to go through that again. The taste is terrible too. The medicated packing is slowly falling out or something. I'm afraid to think about it too much.
..... it's worse when I lie down too. I've got myself propped up to sleep.... but it still keeps me up. I had a miserable night last night.... so I took a nap when I got home from work. Still the pressure thing going on.
I look at it this way.... It's got to heal sometime, yes? LOL!
I heal so damn slow.....
I always have. Even as a child.I'm giving it until next Wednesday. If I still feel this pressure or pulling or whatever it is... I'm going back in to have them look at it. I definitely don't want a bone infection. Although.... wouldn't that hurt like hell?

Sounds like the surgery was a success if you're sleeping better already. :thumbup

Yea I'm hoping it was a success!
And yes 4 months post surgery is what the ENT specialist said. It will be so great to hear if it was 100% success.
