Everybody who drives knows "the wave", right? If somebody lets you in, or you accidentally cut someone off or something...you give them "the wave" to say thanks.

A couple weeks ago I was stuck in traffic. This bitch in a convertible in the lane to my right gives me the wave, and then CUTS ME OFF! That isn't how it works. There's no preemptive wave, you can't do that! It's like "Hey, I'm about to fuck you over, k thx!". Dumbass.

Kim's thread about stereotypes reminded me of a story from Iraq. Over there, we use Ugandans as security on base, they check ID's going into the chow hall and the PX and stuff. Most of them actually speak very good english too, turns out that's what they learn in school.

Anyway, went in the chow hall and there was literally 30 Ugandans lined up on one side of the room. I went over to see what the big deal was.....

They were all waiting for Collard Greens :eek
