Okay..... I've got to go for now. I'm making a Roast Beef dinner for tonight's company. I've got to get it in the Crock Pot with all the veggies and seasonings. And I've got some apples from the local orchard picked right from the trees that I'm going to make a Dutch Apple Pie with for dessert.

The house will be rocking with delicious smells shortly!

While I'm away..... tell me what you're going to do today and/or if you have dinner plans tonight.

I'm getting ready to bug bomb this house and off to Branson (where singing careers go to die) to see Grandma with Mia. Then I'm having a bar b que late this afternoon with my girlies. And they had better BRING something, ya betcha! Or it will be a "Fist City" visit!

I'm supposed to go to an end of the summer grill out/party. It starts around 1 this afternoon, but I won't be going til later. I have a bunch of house stuff to do this afternoon.

Well..... I've got the roast in the pot.... the pie in the oven.... cleaned up most of the mess.... Just have to wash the dishes and straighten the kitchen back up..... Then I can sit back and relax until company arrives around 3.....

You remind me, I need to go find apples today too. They are in the farmer's market and now I have a taste for them!

Picking the apples right off the trees was loads of fun..... particularly with all the bees buzzing around......

.... but the cider and donuts afterwards was delightful and well worth the effort.

The oranges and grapefruits will be ready for picking in January.

I am hanging out with Liam, then if Jim ever gets up we are going to Thrift stores to look for some stuff for Liam.. then Wally World to get some Mega Blocks that are on sale...

Then home...

Heading out with MIL to the Casino for a hour or two.. order a new front door and then come home and spend the evening with my boys..

Dinner was scrumptious! The roast beef practically sliced itself so to speak.... Sides included fresh from my garden carrots and greenbeans. We had potatoes and noodles. Gravy and fresh breads slathered with butter..... Dessert followed shortly thereafter.... My yummy sweet apple pie..... with or without ice cream or cool whip.

I iz sated.....

ohhhhhhhhhh yeah....we are apple picking tomorrow....
