I always thought about that & thought it was a really cool idea. I would not want to wear a ring.

I've considered getting initials tattooed under where my bands would be, maybe on the palm side of my hand. It would always be covered, and I think it would be very cool. I have no tattoos though and will probably never get any.

Haha, diamonds don't mean shit to me. I don't wear jewelry. Gold, silver, diamonds, whatever, isn't important to me at all. & I don't even find it all that beautiful

i think the fact that a diamond is hard and rare is awesome - its not just because its pretty
although if you tried to give me a fossil or something that was equally as rare it would also have to be pretty for me to wear it for the rest of my life

i completely agree with you - but if you are getting me a token of your love for me it better be in a style that i like - which the guy would know if he cared and it better be a good size
i mean if i fall in love with a poor man i don't expect him to have to buy me a huge diamond, but if the guy can afford it - then hell yeah i want a ring that is deserving of being worn for the rest of my life - just like the debt that he gets into to buy my ring should be - for life...

I think that if a woman is so self absorbed in getting the big assed ring, that she picked out. Instead of a ring that the man picked out from his heart. He might want to reevaluate the whole marriage thing.

the best way to handle these things is for a man to figure out the type of ring that a woman likes, but he actually chooses it out. that way it's still a surprise, but still in the neighborhood of things that she might like.
Well yeah I agree, but I would never get her exactly what she wants. That is my job to decide on.
