Who's fed up of their job? Or perhaps you love what you do (or perhaps don't anymore) but stressed out or fed up about working conditions and/or some related working issues whether it be job, some colleagues, management or otherwise?

I am!!!

I've been working at this place for about a month, and she just now got my paper work sent in to corporate and I have missed two, YES, TWO, paychecks. I'm quitting if I don't get one the next time around. Or if I lose all the hours I've already put it.

I often get fed up with the people at my job .. my boss is passive aggressive. I never know if he really likes what I've done or if he's saying he does then gripes behind my back.

It is really beginning to stress me out. If I am doing something he doesn't like .. then fucking tell me .. I cannot read people's MINDS! DAMNIT!

I've worked in a restaurant as a server for about a month, I like it so far. REALLY laid back and not much to complain about except people who don't have their shit together.

I'm fed up with jobs in general, meaning the "need" to have jobs, and not just the need to work, if you get my meaning.

But I don't actually have a job now. Been jobless for a while. Getting a little worried...

Why I asked is because I know how it gets sometimes. Also because, sad to say, over the last few months I've reached that point at my work. It's not that I don't like what I do (I'd normally say I love what I do but like would suffice for now), it's just that it's become progressively stressful with clients being unreasonable with job requests and deadlines mostly because of poor planning and because our industry has encouraged them to take advantage of the agencies. So they do it. And then this affects us negatively with work build up and other spin offs. Almost everyone is stressed out and quick to throw blame on the other, stressing one another off.

I no longer have the zeal to go to work (most times anyway) and I can't wait to leave the office end of work day. It's really not the way I prefer to be because being in the creative side of the business I rely heavily on good vibes to do my thing. I'm really fed up but try as best possible to ride the tide.

I'm aware of my options and considering looking around, but at the same time don't want to jump from the frying pan to the fire so to speak. I haven't gotten a chance to investigate though. My plan was to take my holidays first, then look around at the prospects and should anything come up at least I would have had my holidays (vacation). The next thing too is that because of my position the openings available are less than regular staff members. To every 7-10 there may be 1 in my position so it's a bit tricky, unless a similar position happens to become available.

I'm due for my vacation so I'm going to take that first and see how things go from there.

Yeah, for right now I wish I could leave it all together. I would be very happy not having to go to work. And I won't be bored either. If I could come into a couple million dollars I'd leave it all together. I'm that fed up.

Appreciate the little free time you have. The only thing is if you don't have the money it's tough.

Word. Well I saved up 5000 for my move here but it's very very low now. My gf has managed to get a full time job so she's bringing in money but I'm at the point I really need the cash.

I have been enjoying my time off, no doubt. I haven't been bored (well some days y'know)... but I also haven't been doing what I should be (writing).

I'm fed up with my job too. They told us that starting August 1st we go from 40 hours a week to 25 hours a week. Like I'm gonna drive 100 miles round-trip for a part-time job! :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly:
