My Ruh-Roh moment of the day so far.

My church had high attendance Sunday this past week. As a little something for being there the adults got plastic travel mugs with the church logo on it. I figured I would bring mine to my office. I forgot it yesterday and this morning I remembered. I get out of my truck grab my coffee in my regular travel mug, my briefcase, and my lunch and the new travel mug. Somehow in the process of my left hand grasping the free mug it got stuck on my hand.:willy_nilly: I could not put it down as I am scrambling around trying to put it down I realize it is caught on my wedding band. I had to pull my ring off to get the cup off my hand. :nod:

I get things caught in my ring all the time. Mostly skin, I think I have cut everyone in my family w/ it:24:

Rings are an issue for me.

I was in a wreck a few years ago. Destroyed my truck my only noticeable injury was the ring finger on my left hand swoll up so fast & so bad I had to get my wedding band cut-off.

I have to be careful so as not to scratch someone with mine. It was good you didn't have to have this one cut off!

I caught my ring on a door face plate while running inside a building playing with my kids. It stretched the ring all out of shape, snatched me off my feet and I thought broke my finger. It did tear my finger up pretty bad.

I don't wear much in the way of rings anymore. My hands are pretty busy with my little one. I would just lose track of it and then freak because I would imagine her swallowing it.

A few of my family members never really wear their wedding bands, my uncle and his wife didn't and they are together for a decade. My late grandparents didn't as well and they were together for over 50 years.

I always lose rings, I'm very bad at losing jewelry and I barely wear any.

I never used to take mine off, but now it is off all the time. Mostly due to the fact that I am doing a lot of yard work etc, it just gets in the way, pinches the skin and makes the callouses worse.

My origanal wedding band was thinner and softer. I had to get it straightened out a couple of times a year. The one my wife bought to replace it is heavier and not as soft.

I am not big on jewelry, have a couple rings but rarely wear them...but I received a beautiful silver ring for my birthday from my best friend and haven't taken it off ever since..

you havent lived until you've arced a car battery with a wedding ring... you know how an arc welder get really hot like immediately? yeah think of that wrapped around your finger. my auto tech teacher told us about a guy who did that. i never wear rings when doing anything like work on cars.

TAKE YOUR FUCKING RINGS OFF ONCE IN A WHILE. you could save yourself a trip to the hospital.
