I think he meant bone marrow.

We blend it with butter to melt atop grilled steaks.

I've also had a roasted veal femur bone that was split lengthwise - you just eat the marrow with a tiny cocktail fork. Deelish!

i have boiled it and used it in a soup - it was a little too marrowy tasting for me.

i'm going to grow a couple of plants next summer

what i do is peel and take the seeds out,then i line the inside with mint leaves......then i'd cook up some lamb mince,onion and mixed veg.....then i'd stuff the marrow with the cooked ingredients,put the end back on and wrap in tin foil.....then bake it in the oven till the marrows soft.......the marrow absorbs the mint taste......when cooked you simply slice and cover with gravy

i'm so confused

I was at a New Year's Eve Party (very drunk) and they split a pig and roasted it. It was cooked well done and delicious. There was a chunk of it on the table on a plate and I was picking the meat off the bone, god it was delicious and then I found out it was roasted bone marrow. As delicious as it was, I will not be eating it again. The thought grosses me out even though I know it's delicious.
