I wanted to own a pet shop from the time i was a lil kid till about 11 then I wanted to teach and once i get my butt in gear ima be going to school to become a teacher !

Shit, when I was going to community college, I had people like 50 years older than me, in my class.

Granted, she knew enough not needing to be in the course, but still.

Stop by your local community college, Donnie, see if they have something inline with your experience, or if you wanted to branch out.

Plus, if you decide to pick up a bachelor's while there, you save monies! :thumbup

Did you ever train for any of those or were they just childhood dreams??? I gotta say, I never in my life thought I would want to be an EMT...but one day it just hit me, and I signed up for the class. Going through EMT class was one of the funnest things I ever did...extrication day, OMG, so much fun!!! At one point I had decided to go on to Paramedic school, too, but it was hard enough to work out EMT school and it's clinicals w/ a full-time job...could you imagine trying to do Paramedic school, those clinicals, and a full time job (especially now that I'm a supervisor and on the SWAT team). :eek

Then I got a full time job as a receptionist that evolved into a Marketing Coordinator and I loved it. I loved it so much I changed my major in college and finished up with a BS in Marketing. I have been in some facet of marketing since then, and I wouldn't change it for a million. I guess it's true, things happen for a reason.

That's an excuse buddy--I went to law school while working full time so you can certainly go to college while working full time--go for it!!!

Didn't know you were a teacher--my mother was a teacher (7th and 8th grade math and English and ran the gifted and talented program at her school). I like to say she got her practice or that raising me!!!

Very honorable profession and very important obviously--huge societal responsibility.
